Report: Nottingham Forest enter 'talks' with former Leeds United striker

Nottingham Forest are now in talks with Arsenal over a deal that would see former Leeds Untied striker Eddie Nketiah move to the City Ground, Sky Sports have revealed.

The 20-year-old is said to be wanted by a host of clubs after his loan with the Championship leaders was cut short.

Nketiah moved to Elland Road on a season-long deal in August, but the Gunners recalled the talented youngster at the start of this month because he had started only two league matches in the opening five months of the campaign.

Sheffield Wednesday and Bristol City are Sabri Lamouchi 's closest rivals in the race to land the forward.

And fresh reports now claim that Forest have entered negotiations with Mikel Arteta's side as they look to bolster their attacking options by securing a loan deal.

But with a deal rumoured to be in the offing, bookmakers are now taking bets on who his next club will be with eleventh placed Bristol City (8/11) the favourites to land his signature.

Forest are next in the betting (5/1), at much longer odds than Lee Johnson's side.

Third favourites, Sheffield Wednesday are 7/1, with Hull City (10/1), Middlesbrough (12/1) and Wigan Athletic (14/1) making up the list.
