Report: No suspension expected for Steelers G Trai Turner

Pittsburgh Steelers guard Trai Turner was ejected from the game Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders after what video showed was Turner presumably spitting at Raiders defensive lineman Solomon Thomas.

However, according to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, The NFL is not planning to suspend Turner for his part in the argument.

After the game, Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin defending the actions of Turner insisting someone spit in his face.

The reality of this whole fiasco is what Turner did was wrong. My eyes tell me he spat at Thomas. There’s no video showing what prompted his response but it in no way justifies his response. Nevertheless, the league is likely to fine Turner for what he did, along with Thomas if they have some proof he started the whole thing.
