Report: N’Keal Harry’s injury is ‘very minor’ despite missing practices

New England Patriots receiver N’Keal Harry missed his second practice on Tuesday with an injury after leaving the team’s first preseason game early. Harry’s issue is “very minor,” according to the Boston Globe’s Chris Price.

Harry had been dealing with a minor problem heading into the Patriots’ preseason game against the Detroit Lions last Thursday. While making his second catch (on his third snap of the game), Harry seemed to get rolled up with a defender and came up limping. He tried to line up for the following play but the Patriots ushered him off the field. He finished the game with two catches for 36 yards on three snaps of play.

The Patriots are traveling to Tennessee for joint practices against the Titans before their preseason game on Saturday. Harry would benefit from work against Tennessee. Prior to the injury, he was running with the second-team offense while occasionally getting reps with Tom Brady and the 1s. For now, undrafted rookie Jakobi Meyers has moved above Harry on the depth chart.
