Report: Mike Muscala agrees to deal with Thunder

Moments after a report regarding Nerlens Noel’s commitment to the Oklahoma City Thunder surfaced, another indicated the team had acquired a new big man.

Noel reportedly “asked OKC for time to re-evaluate their earlier commitment on a new deal, and the sides are continuing discussions,” according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Soon after his report regarding Noel’s re-evaluation, Woj reported Mike Muscala had agreed to a deal with the Thunder.

Muscala is a 6-foot-11 power forward/center. The Bucknell University alum has a career 46.8 field goal percentage and is a 36.5 three-point shooter. Muscala has averaged 15.6 minutes per game since entering the league in 2013-14 with the Atlanta Hawks. In that time, he’s averaged 5.9 points and 3.3 rebounds per game.
