Report: Maurice Harris has lower leg injury that will ‘be a while’

Injuries continue to add up at wide receiver for the New England Patriots.

New England has been dealing with injuries the entire offseason with their receiving and tight end corps, and Maurice Harris is the newest addition to the list. Harris left practice on Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, and Tom Curran of NBC Sports Boston reported that he suffered a lower leg injury that will ‘be a while’.

Phillip Dorsett, Maurice Harris and N’Keal Harry did not participate in practice. Dorsett had his hand taped when he was spotted. Harry was in and out of the Titans facility and spent a lot of time just kind of wandering around. Maurice Harris has a lower leg injury and I’m hearing he may be a while.

Here’s a list of Patriots’ pass-catchers that are dealing with injuries currently.

The Patriots will head into Saturday’s preseason game against the Tennessee Titans with Dontrelle Inman, Jakobi Meyers, Gunner Olszewski and Braxton Berrios.

Harris’ exact timetable hasn’t been announced, but it’s a big setback for a veteran that was finding his place in New England.
