There has not been much in the way of news about the Arizona Cardinals’ soon-to-be free agents. So far, the New York Giants have some interest in linebacker Deone Bucannon. There is one other Cardinals free agent beginning to draw interest from other teams.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal’s Michael Gehlken, the Oakland Raiders have interest in Markus Golden, who played defensive end for the Cardinals in 2018 and outside linebacker from 2015-2018.
He has connections with Oakland’s defensive line coach Brentson Buckner, who also coached the Cardinals defensive line under Bruce Arians.
Golden only had 2.5 sacks in 2018 and zero in 2017 but tore his ACL and was rounding into his 2016 form in the second half of last season.
He had a team-high 12.5 sacks in 2016.
