Report: Lonzo Ball sells original Big Baller Brand warehouse for $4.26 million

Like Lonzo Ball,  Big Baller Brand has moved out of downtown Los Angeles. According to a report by Tania Ganguli of the Los Angeles Times, the family-owned sports apparel company sold their warehouse in L.A. for roughly $4.26 million last some time last month. Ball is the majority owner in the Big Baller Brand, the company his father, LaVar Ball, founded.

Here’s more information on the sale courtesy of Ganguli:

limited liability company tied to the former Lakers point guard, who was traded to the Pelicans this offseason in the blockbuster deal for Anthony Davis, has sold a commercial property in downtown Los Angeles for a little over $4.265 million, public records show.

The same corporate entity — Family Always Matters — bought the industrial warehouse in 2017 for $3.5 million.

While some might look at this as the beginning of the end for the Big Baller Brand, the brand already has a new warehouse in an undisclosed location, according to a video posted by LaVar Ball earlier this month.

While the new warehouse doesn’t look as big as the 14,635-square-foot distribution center Lonzo purchased in 2016, it’s a place for them start over in the aftermath of the Alan Foster scandal. Big Baller Brand is expected to re-launch their site with new merchandise in October, when LaMelo Ball and Lonzo Ball start their respective seasons in the NBL and NBA.
