After Luke Walton dropped hints on Friday that Lonzo Ball could miss the rest of the season, the expectation is set for Ball to sit the rest of the season due to his sprained ankle.
With the Lakers on the cusp of re-evaluating Ball later today, Chris Haynes of Yahoo Sports reports that there is a ‘strong suspicion’ that the Lakers are likely to rule him out for the final 17 games.
So it appears Ball’s season is done and the same goes for his teammate Brandon Ingram, who will miss the remainder of the season with Deep Venous Thrombosis, aka a blood clot.
In addition to the absences of key players, LeBron James is already seeing his minutes cut. But in those minutes, we’re likely going to see more of what we saw on Wednesday with James sharing the floor with the South Bay Lakers.
