Report: Lonzo Ball back running on anti-gravity treadmill

The Los Angeles Lakers are in the healing process. They’re in the process of trying to come back together after weeks of leaks and trade rumors tore them apart. But physically, the Lakers are also getting healthier.

Just last week, the Los Angeles Times reported that the Lakers were hopeful they would get Lonzo Ball back after the All-Star break. And now thanks to Bill Oram of The Athletic, we have a clearer picture of just how well Ball’s rehab is going as he’s reportedly running on an anti-gravity treadmill.

Anti-Gravity treadmills, for those of you unfamiliar, are a tool used by athletes to help them workout before their bodies would normally let them. It allows the athletes and their trainers to tweak how help alleviate stress on joints and muscles by “unweighting” parts of the body, which can help athletes better manage their workload.

Luckily for the Lakers and Ball, they’ll soon have a full week off with the hopes that Ball will be available once they return from the break.
