Dontrelle Inman already made one free agent visit with the Detroit Lions this offseason. Back in March the former Colts starter worked out for the team in Allen Park, but the two sides did not agree to a deal.
Inman eventually found his way to the New England Patriots. His stay in New England was short-lived, however. The team dumped the veteran to make room for Josh Gordon, as well as some promising youngsters.
Now it appears the Lions will get another look at Inman. According to a report from NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Inman is making a return trip to Detroit this week.
The Lions are thin at wide receiver and lost Jermaine Kearse, signed earlier this offseason, to a broken leg in the first preseason game.
