Report: Lakers will not bring back Andre Ingram after 10-day expires

The lone feel good story of this Los Angeles Lakers season has already come to a close. Andre Ingram, the 33 year-old career G Leaguer who made waves by making his NBA debut last year, will not have his contract renewed by the Lakers.

This, according to The Athletic’s Bill Oram. With the Lakers still having an open roster spot, that will apparently go to another player in the Lakers G League system, point guard Scott Machado, according to Michael Scotto of The Athletic.

The Lakers depth hasn’t been the same since losing Lonzo Ball, but Alex Caruso has played some solid basketball as of late. It remains to be seen how much playing time Machado will get with the Lakers.

Ingram did not score during 15 minutes of action with the Lakers over four games during their last road trip.
