Report: Klutch Sports in talks to partner with WME for marketing projects

In the journey of Rich Paul and LeBron James breaking apart from one of the most powerful talent agencies in the world, Paul’s Klutch Sports operation has realized an area where they need a little help.

The Action Network’s Darren Rovell reported late on Thursday night that Klutch is in talks with William Morris Endeavors, known more widely as WME, to help them with their marketing.

While Klutch Sports has developed a reputation for being shrewd in negotiations with NBA teams, while also having several successful entertainment projects, it appears their growth necessitates some extra help.

Rich Paul, the CEO and founder of Klutch Sports, was working for Leon Rose and CAA before deciding to start his own agency. LeBron followed, as well as other major clients such as Eric Bledsoe and Tristan Thompson. Other stars such as Draymond Green, Ben Simmons and John Wall have also joined the ranks.

They also have a host of other strong clients, such as Montrezl Harrell, and a strong representation in the upcoming draft with Darius Bazley and Darius Garland.
