Report: Jordan Reed ruled OUT for Monday’s game against Chicago

It was expected news, but the Washington Redskins will again be without star tight end Jordan Reed on Monday night against the Chicago Bears, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Reed has been in the concussion protocol for multiple weeks now after being diagnosed with a concussion in Week 3 of the preseason against the Atlanta Falcons. The concussion is at least the 6th recorded injury of that sort in Reed’s career. and many are calling for him to retire after the latest head injury.

In his absence, the Redskins will look to lean on TE Veronon Davis and TE Jeremy Sprinkle for much of their passing game on Monday night, as they look to pick up their first win of the season.
