Report: Jim Harbaugh looking to leave University of Michigan for NFL gig

After a mediocre run at the University of Michigan that started in 2015, Michigan State rival Jim Harbaugh might be looking to make a move back to the NFL. This was first reported by Jordan Strack of WTOL 11 in Toledo, Ohio.

Harbaugh was 3-3 against Michigan State and 0-5 against Ohio State during his tenure with the Wolverines despite coming into the program as the supposed savior. The Wolverines went 2-4 this season after starting the season as a top-15 team in the country.

Harbaugh was reported to be working on a contract extension to stay at U of M, something some MSU fans are excited about given his limited success, but Strack has reported that his desire to return to the NFL has slowed that process.
