The Jacksonville Jaguars started the week as they have throughout the regular season by working out a few players. According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, this week’s visits included defensive linemen Willie Henry, Stacy McGee, Jamie Meder and Adolphus Washington as the team could be looking for depth after placing Marcell Dareus on injured reserve.
Henry, 25, previously played with the Baltimore Ravens. The organization drafted him in the fourth-round of the 2016 NFL Draft out of Michigan and he went on to participate in 17 games and started in three games. He also managed to accumulate 36 tackles and 4.5 sacks during his three-year tenure.
McGee, 29, was drafted by the Oakland Raiders in the sixth-round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In 2017, he signed with Washington where he spent two seasons. Throughout his seven-year tenure in the league, he participated in 75 games and started in 29, while accumulating 116 tackles, four sacks and six tackles for loss.
Meder, 28, started his career with the Ravens like Henry, but went undrafted in 2014. Afterward, he spent time with the Cleveland Browns, where he accumulated 17 starts, and spent some time with the Seattle Seahawks from January of this year until August. He currently has a career total of 95 tackles and two sacks two his name.
Washington, 24, was a third-round selection of the Buffalo Bills in the 2016 NFL Draft. He spent time with them until 2018, but was added to the Dallas Cowboys’ practice squad in September of last year. He was later signed by the Cincinnati Bengals off the unit, but joined the Miami Dolphins this year who waived him last month. He currently has 62 tackles, 24 TFLs and 4.5 sacks to his name.
