Report: Greg Robinson will not be suspended for his ejection

Greg Robinson’s loss of composure during the Cleveland Browns ugly 43-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans cost the starting left tackle half the game. It will also cost him in the checking account.

Robinson will face a fine for his kick to the head of Titans safety Kenny Vaccaro in the first half. He was ejected on the play. However, Robinson will not face a league-imposed suspension according to NFL.com’s Tom Pelissero.

That’s a silver lining to the black cloud that was Robinson’s poor play and lack of discipline in Sunday’s loss. Backup Kendall Lamm left the game after just four play with a leg injury. The Browns solution of kicking Chris Hubbard from right tackle to left was a swift kick in the face to the pass protection. Having Robinson available to play in Week 2 against the New York Jets is a fortunate stroke of luck.
