Report: Giants will play Patriots in prime time on Oct. 10

The NFL has not released the full 2019 regular-season schedule, but some games have begun to leak out ahead of the league’s official announcement tonight.

One such game is an Oct. 10 matchup against the New England Patriots, which will come on Thursday night.

New England has five primetime games:
– Sept 8 vs Pitt
-Oct 10 vs Giants (Thursday)
-Oct 21 at Jets (MNF)
-Nov. 3 at Baltimore
-Dec. 1 at Houston

There had been rumors that the Giants and Patriots would square off to open the season, but that notion was shot down when the preseason schedule was released, with the Giants wrapping up their exhibition campaign against the defending Super Bowl champions.

Meanwhile, the Giants are expected to open the season against the Dallas Cowboys, which has become a far too common occurrence.

Finally, a third leaked game has the Giants and Jets squaring off at MetLife Stadium in Week 10.
