Report: Giants will open 2022 regular season vs. Titans

The New York Giants will open the 2022 regular season down in Nashville as they visit the Tennessee Titans.

The news was first reported by Ryan Dunleavy of the New York Post.

As Dunleavy also alludes, the Giants are scheduled to play their home opener against the Carolina Panthers. However, the exact date and time of that game has not yet been revealed.

The only other game on the Giants’ scheduled that has been confirmed is a Week 5 matchup against the Green Bay Packers that will take place in London.

“It’s always an honor to represent the NFL internationally,” head coach Brian Daboll said, via Giants.com. “We’ve got a lot of work to do between now and then.”

“Our fanbase in the UK has always been extremely loyal and passionate,” Giants Chief Commercial Officer Pete Guelli said. “The organization has had two memorable games in front of the London fans, and we look forward to engaging with them leading up to the game this fall.”

As a reminder, here are the Giants’ home and away opponents in 2022:

Home: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens, Carolina Panthers

Away: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, Tennessee Titans, Minnesota Vikings, Jacksonville Jaguars, Green Bay Packers

The NFL will announce the full 2022 regular season schedule on Thursday night at 8:00 p.m. ET.
