Report: Former Texans running back Alfred Blue visiting the Jaguars

Former Houston Texans running back Alfred Blue could stay in the AFC South. According to Pro Football Talk, the free agent running back is visiting the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The former sixth-round selection out of LSU has rushed for 2,407 yards and with touchdowns in his five years with the Texans. Blue’s salary was $790,000 last season and already have Lamar Miller and D’onta Foreman as the one and two punch for 2019.

Texans general manager Brian Gaine could be looking at drafting a running back in this upcoming draft to replace Blue. There will be some running backs the Texans could select in the later rounds of this draft if they choose to do so.

Averaging 31.2 yards a game last season Blue showed he can play in the NFL when given the opportunities. Being a free agent and looking for more money it appears Blue played his last down in a Texan uniform.
