Report: Former Steeler Michael Vick headed to visit Pittsburgh

According to a report by ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter for Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Michael Vick is headed to Pittsburgh with the Steelers.

Vick played with the Steelers back in 2015 but hasn’t played in the league since. Vick started three games in 2015 for Pittsburgh and went 2-1. The Steelers are in the market for a quarterback now that Ben Roethlisberger is headed to IR with an elbow injury.

Bringing in a guy who wasn’t very good in 2015 after he hasn’t played in three seasons feels desperate. The Steelers could simply promote Devlin Hodges or sign one of the many free-agent quarterbacks out there who aren’t three seasons removed from football.
