Report: Former Steeler CB Coty Sensabaugh visiting Saints

Part of the rebuild of the Pittsburgh Steelers secondary was the huge addition of free-agent cornerback Steven Nelson. The signing of Nelson made it so Pittsburgh didn’t need to make an offer to veteran Coty Sensabaugh. Now, according to NFL reporter Tom Pelissero, Sensabaugh is looking to meet with the New Orleans Saints.

I had honestly hoped the Steelers would try to sign Sensabaugh at the end of the season and instead cut Artie Burns loose. Burns has an $800,000 bonus due on the first day of training camp.

Sensabaugh came in and started for Burns when he got benched. If Sensabaugh signs with the Saints it would be his fifth NFL team going into his eighth season.
