Report: Former Redskins safety Su’a Cravens gets a workout with the Patriots

Former Washington Redskins safety Su’a Cravens recently registered in a headline because he didn’t make the final roster with the Denver Broncos.

Cravens is always an interesting topic with Redskins fans because of his messy exit from the team after being a notable high pick, then his continued comments about the franchise.

In the wake of his release, it turns out the New England Patriots were the first team to show a serious interest, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport above.

Other than it simply being interesting to see if a former second-round pick can latch on somewhere and stay in the league, this latest Cravens saga is interesting because the Redskins happen to play the Patriots in Week 5.

If the workout went well, the Redskins might be seeing an old friend again.
