After a fantastic career, it appears that ex-Raiders receiver Jordy Nelson is retiring, according to former teammate and now NFL Network analyst James Jones.
After being released by the Packers last offseason, Nelson signed a two-year, $15 million deal with the Raiders. However, Nelson did not play well in 2018, catching just 63 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns. Nelson in 33 years old and it was apparent that he was just a shell of his former self.
In his career, Nelson caught 613 passes for the Packers and Raiders, totaling 8,587 yards and 72 touchdowns.
