Report: Former Packers WR Randall Cobb signing with Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Green Bay Packers receiver Randall Cobb, according to Jay Glazer of The Athletic.

Cobb, who spent his first eight seasons in Green Bay, was in Dallas on an official visit with the Cowboys Monday.

The 28-year-old receiver was a second-round pick of the Packers in 2011. He emerged as one of the NFL’s top slot receivers, highlighted by a Pro Bowl season in 2014 that earned him a new, four-year deal in Green Bay.

That deal expires after the 2018 season, making Cobb an unrestricted free agent.

He struggled through last season, playing in only nine games because of hamstring and head injuries.

In Dallas, Cobb will help the Cowboys replace slot receiver Cole Beasley.
