Report: Former Packers CB Davon House visiting Seahawks

Davon House isn’t expected to return to Green Bay, but the veteran cornerback is receiving interest from the Seattle Seahawks, according to Curtis Crabtree of PFT.

House has a free-agent visit scheduled with the Seahawks.

After signing a one-year deal to return to the Packers in 2018, House played in only three games before landing on injured reserve with a shoulder injury that required surgery.

He will turn 30 in July. A fourth-round pick of the Packers in 2011, House came back to Green Bay after a two-year stint in Jacksonville in 2017 and played 15 total games over the last two seasons. He intercepted one pass and broke up six others, all during the 2017 season.

The Packers lost Bashaud Breeland in free agency and look comfortable letting House walk. Mike Pettine’s defense will move forward with Jaire Alexander, Kevin King, Josh Jackson, Tramon Williams, Tony Brown, Will Redmond and Natrell Jamerson at cornerback, plus any draft pick or college free agent added over the next month.

If signed in Seattle, House could give the Seahawks a veteran cornerback who knows how to play press technique.
