Report: former Georgia Bulldog on the trade block

Former Georgia Bulldog Alec Ogletree is now on the trade block for the New York Giants. Ogletree, who is no stranger to trades, has 38 tackles and a sack for the season. NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported the news:

With #Jets DL Leonard Williams headed to the #Giants, both teams are hoping for more. NYJ continues to shop WR Robby Anderson, while NYG has shopped and is open to dealing Janoris Jenkins, Alec Ogletree and maybe Nate Solder.

Ogletree should be a sought after target for teams needing a linebacker. It wouldn’t be shocking if he ended up back in Los Angeles, although cap space would likely be an obstacle. The Indianapolis Colts have enough space to bring in Ogletree. After trading for New York Jets’ defensive lineman Leonard Williams, the Giants have to clear some cap space.
