Report: Former Bengals 1st-round pick Cedric Ogbuehi lands with Jaguars

After having his fifth-year option declined, 2015 first-round pick Cedric Ogbuehi will go from the Cincinnati Bengals to Jacksonville Jaguars during free agency.

Ogbuehi will land with the Jaguars and new $100 million quarterback Nick Foles, according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo.

Last year, Ogbuehi spent most of his time on the bench. He struggled at left tackle after Andrew Whitworth left and prefers the right side. But the Bengals went out and added veteran Andre Smith late last season instead of throwing Ogbuehi back into the lineup.

Ogbuehi has said he wants a fresh start without the Bengals. He’ll get it with the Jaguars, who seem ready to hope they can get something out of the former 21st pick.

As for the Bengals, they locked up Bobby Hart and signed new right guard John Miller.
