Report: Florida OT Jawaan Taylor visiting Panthers today

According to a report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, Florida offensive tackle prospect Jawaan Taylor is visiting with the Carolina Panthers on Friday.

Taylor is considered to be one of the top tackle prospects in the 2019 NFL draft class.

At 6-foot-5 and 328 pounds, Taylor has more than enough size and power to stay at tackle in the pros rather than having to move inside. At the combine, they measured his arms at 35.125 inches and his hands at 10 inches. He posted 24 bench press reps.

In Carolina, Taylor would likely project as their long-term starter at right tackle, playing opposite of Taylor Moton on the other side.

The Panthers might have to use their first-round pick to get him.
