Report: Falcons working out linebacker Carroll Phillips

The Falcons will reportedly work out former Colts EDGE Carroll Phillips today, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

After playing his college football at Illinois, Phillips went undrafted in 2017, despite being projected as a fourth or fifth-round pick. He spent his first season with the Jaguars before the Colts signed him in 2018.

Last season, Phillips played in six games for Indianapolis, recording five total tackles before he was placed on injured reserve (groin) in November.

The Falcons visit the Colts on Sunday.
