Report: Falcons will sign ex-Giants OL Jamon Brown to 3-year deal

Once the New York Giants had made the trade for guard Kevin Zeitler, Jamon Brown’s future with the team was likely over.

For Brown though, he didn’t have to wait too long to find his next team. Brown is reportedly signing a three-year deal to join the Atlanta Falcons.

Brown initially came to the Giants when he was awarded to them off of waivers in late October. The Los Angeles Rams had parted ways with Brown after Austin Blythe took his starting job while he was serving a suspension early in the season.

Once Brown came to the Giants, he was substituted in as the starting right guard and beginning in Week 10, the offensive line improved significantly.

Before the Giants, Brown had played the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Rams, who selected him in the third-round of the 2015 NFL Draft out of Louisville.
