The Atlanta Falcons are moving forward without quarterback Danny Etling, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported on Monday afternoon.
Etling, 26, was drafted by the New England Patriots out of Purdue back in 2018 and had just returned to the team following a stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
Entering his third season, Etling was likely behind quarterback Kurt Benkert in the battle for the Falcons’ No. 3 QB spot.
