Report: Falcons OT Kaleb McGary’s knee is fine structurally

The Falcons suffered another real scare when their second first-round pick, right tackle Kaleb McGary had to be escorted off the field with a knee injury during Sunday night’s win over the Eagles.

McGary would later return to the game in the fourth quartter but will have further tests Monday to evaluate his knee, according to Jason Butt of The Athletic.

Remember, Atlanta already lost its other first-round pick, Chris Lindstrom in Week 1 with a broken foot.

The initial prognosis sounds good for McGary, but it’s still another blow to a Falcons offensive line that can’t afford to lose anybody.
