Report: Falcons fear first-round pick Chris Lindstrom broke his foot

A bad day for the Falcons may have gotten worse. Jay Glazer reports that the Falcons fear first-round pick Chris Lindstrom may have fractured his foot during Sunday’s 28-12 loss to the Minnesota Vikings.

Lindstrom was a major piece of the team’s top offseason priority: rebuilding the offensive line. Losing him would be a huge blow for an already shaky looking front line.

Replacing the rookie at right guard will likely be veteran Jamon Brown, another one of their offseason acquisitions aimed at improving the unit.

Brown wasn’t active for the Falcons in Week 1, but if Lindstrom is out, he’ll be playing a big role for the team going forward.
