The Falcons have already made a lot of changes to Dan Quinn’s coaching staff for 2019. All three coordinator jobs have been turned over, as well as several assistant positions. More changes are on the way, apparently.
According to a report by D. Orlando Ledbetter at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the team is rehiring former assistant Jess Simpson to be their new defensive line coach. Simpson spent last season holding the same position for the University of Miami.
Before that, Simpson was an assistant defensive line coach for the Falcons during the 2017 season.
He’s won seven high school state titles in Georgia.
