The NFL has suspended former New England Patriots and current Seattle Seahawks receiver Josh Gordon for violating the NFL’s policies on performance-enhancing substances and substances of abuse, the league announced on Monday.
He has served time on a suspensions for the better part of the last six seasons. He deals with addiction issues and mental health problems.
Gordon spent 2018 and some of 2019 with the Patriots before the team put him on injured reserve and released him when he got healthy. He finished his New England career playing 17 games with 60 receptions and 1,007 yards with four touchdowns.
He played five games with seven receptions for 139 yards for Seattle.
