Everson Griffen reportedly announced on Instagram that he was leaving the Vikings in free agency. So now that is seems likely Griffen is moving on, the Seattle Seahawks appear to be a team that’s caught his eye.
A source close to Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press told him Griffen is definitely interesting in signing with the Seahawks. Seattle could be interested in signing him, if defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who played for Seattle but is now a free agent, decides not to re-sign with the team.
Tomasson went on to say that it’s likely Clowney needs to find a team in order for Griffen to find his.
This is probably because teams that would be interested in Clowney are also interested in Griffen, especially if Clowney is asking for too much money.
It will be interesting to see where those two end up. If Griffen eventually goes somewhere else, which seems pretty obvious judging from his Instagram, then it will be strange to see him in another jersey.
