Report: Eagles to sign QB Cody Kessler

The Philadelphia Eagles are adding another arm to the quarterback room, as Ian Rapoport is reporting that the team will sign former USC and Browns quarterback, Cody Kessler.

The move could be bad news for former AAF quarterback, Luis Perez, who signed with the Eagles a few days after the league shut down. With the move, the Eagles would have Nate Sudfeld as the official backup, with 5th round pick Clayton Thorson and Kessler on the roster.

Kessler started four games for the Jaguars in 2018, going 2-2, while passing for 709 yards.
