Report: Eagles RB Josh Adams to miss start of offseason workouts after shoulder surgery

Eagles running back Josh Adams is expected to miss the start of the team’s offseason workouts while he recovers from shoulder surgery Mike Kaye of NJ.com is reporting.

Adams, the Eagles leading rusher last season, underwent labrum surgery following the team’s divisional-round playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints in January. The timetable for return was six months, so Adams should be good to go for the start of training camp.

Adam finished the season with 120 carries for a team-high 511 rushing yards and three touchdowns, after signing with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame.
