Report: Dez Bryant won't be signing with the Packers, according to Aaron Rodgers

It doesn't look like Dez Bryant is going to become a member of the Green Bay Packers.

On Tuesday, the team's quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, told reporters that while he doesn't make roster decisions, he doesn't expect the franchise to add the former pro bowler.

Last week, Jason Witten, the longtime Dallas Cowboys tight end turned Monday Night Football analyst, guessed that Bryant would ultimately end up playing for the Packers in 2018.

"I think he's going to end up going to the Green Bay Packers," said Witten, appearing on The Adam Schefter Podcast. "I think that's a great spot for him. Aaron Rodgers, he throws that back-shoulder throw so well, and Dez [can have] great chemistry with a good quarterback that can put the ball wherever he wants."

Bryant rejected a multi-year offer from the Baltimore Ravens, but other suitors have yet to emerge.

In mid-April, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones sat down with the wide receiver to inform him that he'd been released.
