Report: Cowboys ask Jets about potential Jamal Adams trade

It appears next to no one is untouchable as the Jets inch closer to the trade deadline.

Knowing that the Jets are open to dealing several of their big-name players, the Cowboys have touched base with the Jets on a possible trade for Jamal Adams, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.

Per Rapoport, Adams, who has grown increasingly frustrated with the consistent losing, is open to a move. After the Jets’ 29-15 loss on Sunday, the safety sounded fed up. The Jets are 10-29 since Adams entered the league.

“We’re 1-6, man,” said Adams, shaking his head. “I can’t even count how many times… It’s been three years, man. I’m frustrated. I just want to win.”

Adams would have an opportunity to win with Dallas. but they’re going to need to blow away the Jets with their offer.
