Report: Colts to work out RB De’Angelo Henderson

The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly bringing in running back De’Angelo Henderson for a work out on Monday, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

With only three healthy running backs on the active roster, the Colts are keeping tabs on available options in the market. Though Marlon Mack, Nyheim Hines and Jordan Wilkins are all healthy, Jonathan Williams was inactive due to a rib injury in Week 1.

Henderson was a sixth-round pick in 2017 with the Denver Broncos and was waived before the start of the 2018 season. During that season, he spent time on the active roster and practice squad for the New York Jets.

Henderson spent the preseason with the Minnesota Vikings but was let go during the roster cuts.

In eight career games, Henderson has taken nine carries for 32 yards while catching two passes for 36 yards.
