The Indianapolis Colts are set to re-sign cornerback Chris Milton, who was a restricted free agent this offseason.
Though the Colts didn’t apply the tender to Milton like they did the three other restricted free agents, he comes back on a one-year deal worth $1.5 million. It includes a $600,000 signing bonus and a $250,000 Pro Bowl incentive, per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
The Colts cornerback room could use some depth and even though Milton was more of a special teams player for Indy, he can provide back end dpeth in a pinch if need be.
The Colts are still expected to be relatively active at the cornerback position in both free agency and the draft, especially if Pierre Desir decides to sign elsewhere.
