Report: Colts to host Toledo CB Ka’dar Hollman

One area the Indianapolis Colts are expected to address during the 2019 NFL Draft at the end of April is the secondary, which means scouring the country for potential prospects.

Hosting players for a visit and a workout is often what helps determine how a prospect fits in the plans for a team, and the Colts are reportedly among the teams hosting a workout visit for Toledo cornerback Ka’dar Hollman, per Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

The Colts have their starting corps back from the 2018 season, but some depth is certainly needed. Hollman could be an interesting Day 3 choice for Indy as they look to add some young depth.

Hollman played 41 games (35 starts) during his career with Toledo. He recorded 113 tackles, 27 passes defended and two interceptions.

Hollman is a raw prospect, but he has the traits to compete for a spot in the NFL. He’s fast, agile and explosive while possessing solid size to work on the boundary or in the slot.

The Colts have several choices to make on Day 3 but if they wait to address the cornerback position, Hollman is an intriguing choice.
