Report: Colts met with FSU EDGE Brian Burns

The Indianapolis Colts may have added to the pass rush in free agency, but they are still a team that could use their first-round pick on an edge rusher during the 2019 NFL Draft.

Among those that would be an extremely enticing pick at No. 26 overall is Florida State edge rusher Brian Burns, who is among the top prospects coming into the draft.

While there is an unlikely chance Burns falls to the Colts, they will still do their homework and have reportedly met with the prospect, per Jon Ledyard of The Draft Network.

Burns is one of the best pass rushers entering the draft. He’s long and bendy off the edge while also being arguably the most polished edge rusher in terms of moves at the point of attack.

His stock has risen considerably over the past month, especially after he showed some added weight at the NFL combine but was still able to torch the drills in Indy.

The Colts would be lucky to grab Burns at the end of the first round and even though it is unlikely, they are still going to do all the work they can on him.
