Report: Colts’ Jacoby Brissett has a chance to play vs. Dolphins

Indianapolis Colts quarterback Jacoby Brissett couldn’t finish Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers due to a knee injury, but it seems the team received good news on his diagnosis.

While it remains to be seen if he will play against the Miami Dolphins in Week 10, the MRI revealed Brissett has a MCL strain. The 26-year-old reportedly has a chance to play, per Chris Mortensen of ESPN.

It will be wise to keep an eye on the practice injury reports throughout the week to get a better idea of how Brissett is progressing as the week goes on.

If Brissett can’t suit up against the Dolphins, veteran backup Brian Hoyer will be under center. Hoyer completed 17 of 26 passes for 168 yards, three touchdowns and one interception in relief of Brissett on Sunday.
