Report: Colts hosted CB Tim Harris on pre-draft visit

Among the positions the Indianapolis Colts could be looking to address during the 2019 NFL Draft, cornerback is an area that should provide plenty of depth across the three-day event.

The Colts are liable to use any one of their nine selections on a cornerback even though they didn’t do so during the 2018 draft. If they looked to the late rounds, an option might be Virginia’s Tim Harris, who reportedly had a visit with the Colts last week, per Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

Harris is thought to be a Day 3 pick, which is exactly when the Colts could look to add a cornerback. This is especially true given that the starting trio of Pierre Desir, Quincy Wilson and Kenny Moore are all set to return. This could allow the Colts to feel comfortable enough to grab a project on Day 3.

Harris has solid size to be a boundary corner to go along with his fit in a zone scheme, which the Colts run often. He might be a project, but it could be a name to keep an eye on Day 3.
