The Indianapolis Colts officially kicked off mandatory minicamp Tuesday afternoon as the offseason training program approaches its end, and there were a handful of players attending on a tryout basis.
This will be the final time the Colts will be on the field together as a team until returning for training camp at the end of July. Getting a look at some of the players available on the market will make them feel more secure over the next month.
Along with the Colts roster participating in minicamp, the Colts will have nine players on a tryout basis per Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star.
It isn’t clear who the nine players are that are participating on a tryout basis for the Colts.
It remains to be seen if the Colts will have any of these players signed following minicamp, but they are at least giving some players a chance to show their game.
