Colts could be interested in Steelers QB Joshua Dobbs

With the sudden retirement of quarterback Andrew Luck, the Indianapolis Colts suddenly find themselves in the market for a quarterback. Pickings are slim with only a week left in the preseason, but the Colts could be interested in Pittsburgh Steelers reserve Joshua Dobbs.

Does this mean they have contacted the Steelers? Of course not. But the Steelers are in a good position that they have two solid reserves behind Ben Roethlisberger. With how strong Mason Rudolph has come on in the preseason, Dobbs might not have much of a hold on the backup spot.

Personally, I have no interest in letting Dobbs leave. The quarterback position is too valuable in today’s NFL. I’d rather the Steelers keep Roethlisberger, Rudolph and Dobbs than have an extra third-round pick next season and not have Dobbs.

But I want to pass the question off to you. Would you be OK with the Steelers trading Dobbs to the Colts? Let us know.
