Report: Colts’ Chester Rogers suffered season-ending knee fracture

The Indianapolis Colts wide receiver room continues to get thinner as Chester Rogers reportedly suffered a season-ending knee fracture during the 31-17 loss against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

During the first quarter, Rogers went down with the knee injury and was quickly ruled out. It was clear how severe the injury was, but now we know he suffered a fracture in his knee, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.

The Colts already lost Devin Funchess for the remainder of the season while T.Y. Hilton deals with his calf injury and rookie Parris Campbell tries to get back on the field with a hand injury.

It has been a rough season for the Colts wide receivers, who have either been hurt or have lacked production. Now, they will lose another depth piece in the room and one of their starters on special teams as Rogers was the punt returner.

The Colts are going to have to rely on guys like Zach Pascal and Marcus Johnson to continue carrying the load until Hilton and Campbell return.
