Report: Colts are re-signing OL Le’Raven Clark

The Indianapolis Colts are set with five quality starters across their offensive line, but they took a step towards securing valuable depth on Friday.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports that the Colts are re-signing Le’Raven Clark.

A third-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft, Clark has spent his entire career in Indianapolis providing the team with valuable versatility, seeing time at both tackle positions (primarily right tackle) and right guard.

However, Clark saw no action in 2019 and was a health scratch in all 16 games, which came on the heels of 365 offensive snaps (32%) in 2018 and 323 offensive snaps (31%) in 2017.

As a rookie in 2016, Clark split time at right guard and right tackle, taking 200 offensive snaps (18%).

Despite the return of Clark, the Colts are expected to continue their search for offensive line depth during the second waive of free agency and, quite possibly, in the later rounds of the 2020 NFL Draft.
